Workshop and D I Ys Ours / friends - rockyone
DIY deck in my Nissan Navara D40 dual cab. As I had all the materials to make it, was no use me paying some $1200 plus (incl freight) to buy a factory setup. A 4x4 mate was going to dump the two big sheets of structural 'Form Ply' so he was good enough to drive the 32k out to our place to see if I wanted it. " Yes please " All the steel and aluminium was re-cycled at least once. Sure, I had to buy a factory fridge slide (could make one if I really wanted to) but if I had the factory deck, still would have to add the fridge slide to the bill. Slide is high quality steel and sealed ball bearings and glides just so smoothly, even when fridge is loaded. Note the ripper shelf I made way back behind the cabin. Holds heaps. Easy port window access.
